Founder & Executive Director

Jacquetta 'Jackie' Bullock is the founder and Executive Director of New Direction Ministries. She is a leader, adviser, advocate, educator, encourager, motivator, writer, pioneer, forerunner, entrepreneur and visionary as noted in her ongoing involvements to help lift and help improve the quality of life for the lest, less, lost, low and left out… right alongside of those who are on top and climbing.  Jacquetta's faith is the vehicle that navigates the course for service. She believes as constructed and by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Everyone can be great". The care and concerns for humankind is to be expressed not merely in words, but in your deeds. Jackie earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a MBA from Pfieffer University. She is married and has three children and three grandchildren.

Vice Chair

Joann Allen is the senior pastor and founder of Divine Habitation Ministries, International in Henderson, NC. Pastor Allen is a graduate of Shaw University and is currently continuing studies at New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina.





A 1992 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, Dawn obtained her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. With more than 15 years of experience in the Accounting field, she diligently serves as Board Treasurer. Dawn is the proud mother of one daughter a graduate of North Carolina Central University. urrently attends Hampton University.




Board Member and Co-Chairperson

Sharif Radney is a native of Orange, New Jersey. He attended Grantham University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Sharif’s true passion in life is helping the disenfranchised struggling or unable to help themselves. He particularly enjoys mentoring young people and challenging them not to settle for mediocrity in life, but rather, to reach for and walk in their God-given destiny!





Born in New Jersey,  Jakeema graduated from the NC School of Science and Mathematics in Durham. Today, she resides in Raleigh and serves the community as a volunteer within Wake and Vance counties. In Wake County, she advocates for abused and neglected children by serving as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer. Jakeema also provides pro bono consultation services to non-profits in the areas of Board administration, strategic planning and grants and program development. She has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Master's in Public Administration and a certification in Non-Profit Management.




Youth Advisor

Samantha S Williams is a native of Henderson, NC and a recent graduate of North Carolina A& T State University with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. She currently resides in Henderson, NC, loves the Lord and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
